About

I was born and raised in a small town in Colorado; throughout school I found a passion for reading and learning new things. My mom always said that I would be happiest if I could stay in school for my entire life—she wasn’t wrong. I graduated from the University of Denver in 2022 with a B.S. in Molecular Biology and minors in psychology and chemistry. I was consistently peer reviewing and editing fellow students’ papers. I also worked at the university’s Living and Learning Community office, I edited and formatted posts for the LLC’s blog.

I graduated early and moved to Michigan where I found a New Holland Agriculture and Construction dealership to work at. Shortly after, my husband began traveling for work and we did long distance for a year before I began traveling with him. When I started traveling with him I knew I wanted to find something I could do while on the road but I had no idea what.

One day my husband came home and found that I had started annotating a book and marking any errors I found. He asked why I hadn’t gone into editing and I was dumbfounded. After all the editing I had done at the university and previous jobs, editing had never once crossed my mind. I started taking refresher editing classes that same week and I have now had the opportunity to edit multiple novels and more academic pieces than I could name. I honestly feel like I am living the dream, reading and editing for a living while traveling the U.S. with my husband and our pup.
